Our local vendors are your source for, fresh vegetables, fruits, meats, fish, and other specialty items! Come enjoy live music, visit with neighbors and buy the freshest produce and other foods the area has to offer.
Voted the ‘Best Small Market in Florida’ and 15th in the USA, we have a large number of vendors offering fruits and vegetables, dried fruits and nuts, Italian bakery, fresh homemade pasta, kitchenware, cupcakes, beef and fresh seafood, fresh citrus, jewelry, candles and soaps, dip mixes, Florida arts and crafts, cheese, French bakery, baguettes and olives, homemade pies, orchids, organic produce, personalized pens, kettle corn, coffee beans and drinks, native and exotic plants.
The Farmers Market has become a Saturday morning tradition, Punta Gorda’s Farmer’s Market is open every Saturday
October – April, 8 am to 12 noon
May – September, 8 am to 12 noon
“I love coming to the market every Saturday with my family and our dog, Nova. We get her some treats and we buy fruits and vegetables. I get the seafood and bread. We usually get a sandwich or snack and lots of other stuff.” The bread and desserts are so yummy and so is Wallys BBQ food truck, is the best." Plus it's nice to spend time strolling downtown Punta Gorda. The live music is a plus, it really puts you in that relaxed weekend vibe.
The Saturday Farmers Market is open to the public from 8 am-noon. Vendors are spaced for safety and are returning as space allows. Located: corner of Taylor and Olympia in downtown Punta Gorda
Special conditions will be in place to meet with CDC guidelines. Please wear masks, keep social distancing, observe the design of the directional pathway to help keep you 6ft+ apart and do not attend if you feel unwell.
All vendors will have been fever-tested prior to the opening of the market and will administer strict protocols for money handling. No more than two people can be under/around a 10'x10' tent at any one time. There can be no food sampling allowed. Baby steps - but your market is coming back into a new world!
