I followed my heart and it lead me to Punta Gorda💖
In 2001 after the loss of a 7-year marriage, and as a newly divorced single mom, I barked on the adventure of a lifetime. I fell in love with an older man single newly divorced dad. We were both looking for a change and wanted out of the crazy rat race that we lived, in the city of Miami. My new boyfriend began a new sales job which required him to drive up and down the SW coast, from Naples to St Petersberg. On our non-child weekends, I would meet him in where ever he was. We both fell in love with SW Florida. So even though we had only known each other for about a year, our hearts lead us to relocate to the SW Florida area. We both agreed Punta Gorda was it for us. Â
Not only did I embark on a new adventure but also a new career. The experience of selling my boyfriend's home and my home in Miami and finding a new home in Punta Gorda convinced me I wanted to try to realize my dream of becoming a realtor. In 2003 I received my realtor license. In 2005, my sweetheart and I got married in the Punta Gorda courthouse. We can't imagine living anywhere else. Â
It gives me lots of joy to help other families and retirees find their forever homes. Or vacation getaways, for some it's a lucrative and fun way to make money as an investment while they get out of the snow in the winter months whatever the reason for your visit or relocation I am sure you will have a great time here. Please take a look at the following website, provided by Charlotte county tourism. It's free of ads and very informative. I highly recommend it. Along with the Free visitor guide, which is chuck full of information on things to do, places to stay, and yummy places to eat. Â
